Description
The amazing coastline just a few miles from where I live. This was taken looking north from Higher Sharpnose Point towards Lucky Hole and Cotton Beach just south of Hawkers Hut, near Morwenstow north of Bude in Cornwall, England, UK. A notoriously treacherous coastline for shipping and with stories of smuggling and wreckers luring ships to their doom with false lights. The Reverend Robert Hawker was a local historic figure being the eccentric vicar of Morwenstow who rescued and buried shipwrecked sailors and was responsible for the harvest festival.
