Description
Local Hartland Quay shortly after a storm one summer. The view is looking south towards distant north Cornwall. I like the varying depths of colour of the distant headlands and the reversal of the usual darker shades in the distance compared to those nearby and the darker water against the brighter sky.

Beautiful seascape and view Richard! l/f/t
Richard Brookes replied:
Thank you TN. Glad you like it. One of my favourite places - the views are vast & they change greatly with the weather conditions. This part of North Devon faces the prevailing Atlantic westerlies and the weather constantly changes. Every time you go is different.

Thank you for your kind comment Betsy. I'm so pleased you like it. One of my favourite local places. As you can see so far and with the amazing geology it looks different each time. It always draws me back! :o)
