View west over Camborne towards the nearby Cornish coast and distant St Ives from one of the granite tors on the summit of the granite hill outcrop of Carn Brae at 650ft (198m) above sea level. The hill is prominent above the surrounding landscape near Redruth, Cornwall, SW England, UK. A neolithic hilltop site it has been occupied for millennia with evidence of habitation back to 3700-3400 BC. Taken in February.
