Description
Tiny pretty yellow star shaped flowers and buds of a small ground level sedum plant. Known as goldmoss / mossy / biting stonecrop, goldmoss sedum, wallpepper or sedum acre. This perennial plant, a member of the Crassulaceae family, is often overlooked and overshadowed by larger plants. They are lovely when looked at close to. The starry flowers form a three to six-flowered cyme or inflorescence. They are often used for ground cover and on dry walls. Background leaves desaturated slightly to enhance flowers. Macro shot taken in a garden in North Devon, SW England, UK.
