Description
The fast incoming spring tide once again reclaims and consigns the tortured remains of the 1917 wreck of the Portuguese SS Belem to its watery grave. Periodically, heavy seas and favourable low tides excavate the covering sand to expose the poignant remains to sunlight once more. The ship's final resting place is off the treacherous and rocky North Cornwall coast near to Bude.

Yvonne Wright
Great apocalyptic landscape!
Richard Brookes replied:
Thank you Yvonne, yes it does resemble something out of a science fiction film or novel,
