Description
The impressive medieval gateway entrance at Dunster Castle in Somerset, SW England UK. The gateway with its huge fortified ironclad oak doors is believed to date from the thirteenth century being the only surviving part of the original castle built by Reynold de Mohun II. Apparently the entrance was repaired in the 1470's for £1 and the doors are still working well.
