The remote moorland wilderness at East Caradon Hill, Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, SW England, UK. Kit Hill can be seen on the horizon. The area has a rich copper and tin mining heritage over the centuries mainly in Victorian times. The workings and a few minimal ruins of the old East Caradon Mine are downhill just beyond the building. Taken in the Autumn one October.

Hi Will, thank you, I appreciate your comment. Yes, sometimes the light and landscape just works and everything lines up well. From memory it was breezy and cold - and at this point it was a lovely clear day which can be rare. The weather can change rapidly and suddenly close in on these upland moors.
