Description
A view taken looking down the steep main street of beautiful Clovelly, North Devon, SW England, UK. This unique and ancient fishing village sits perched on precipitous cliffs. The quaint buildings appear to tumble down the cliffs either side of the narrow cobbled main street down to the harbour. This street is known as Up-A-Long as far down as the New Inn and then it becomes Down-A-Long (the view here). Vehicles are not allowed. Sledges and occasionally donkeys are used to haul items. It has been used as a location for various films and productions, more recently it featured in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society film.
