Description
The wonderful Giant's Head living sculpture artwork at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, near Mevagissey, Cornwall, England, UK. The gardens effectively went to sleep for over 70 years after the First World War due to the loss of manpower. Restored in the 1990's Heligan is a magical and inspiring place to visit with a huge selection of plants and many interesting renovations. This sculpture comprises rocks and plants with montbretia for hair and "Mind-Your-Own-Business for the face. The eyes are made out of a mosaic of pottery and china fragments (sherds / shards) found on the estate. A great story.
