Description
The fantastic roof of the Core at the Eden Project in Cornwall, near to St Austell, UK. The unusual architecture uses "biomimicry" i.e. using natural forms shown in plants etc for construction techniques. Apparently this roof is based on the sunflower head. I loved the way the light played off the roof during my visit with the biomes in the background. All built within a previously industrial environment - repurposing a china clay quarry. Quite a unique place.
